About Us

Allegra Design was originally founded in 2009 during a stay abroad in Singapore and relaunched in Zurich at the beginning of 2018. We specialise in creative camps, events and parties and sell a small selection of fabrics and patterns at various markets and trade fairs, primarily in and around Zurich.

We have a mobile studio and use it to travel around various regions of Switzerland. We currently cover the cantons of Aargau, Basel-Stadt, Basel-Land, Ticino, Zug and Zurich, but we are always on the lookout for new locations and are open to new places and ideas.

Our team consists of three experienced camp leaders and is supported by various helpers depending on the occasion. We are neither professional designers nor tailors, but have taught ourselves how to sew and design in various courses and training programmes.

We love fashion, beautiful fabrics and good craftsmanship and attach great importance to sustainability. We source our fabrics and materials directly from wholesalers and regularly attend trade fairs at home and abroad. Our range of fabrics and patterns is relatively limited due to our mobile concept and is regularly updated in line with the latest fashions and trends.

Since the beginning of 2024, we have also been offering baking camps in cooperation with our neighbouring company - Bakeria GmbH.
